Thomas F. Blackwell Memorial Award:
The fifth annual Thomas F. Blackwell Memorial Award was presented
to Professor Louis Sirico of Villanova Law School at the 2007 AALS
annual conference in Washington, D.C.
Fifth Annual Golden Pen Award:
The Legal Writing Institute presented its seventh Golden Pen Award
to California's Plain-Language Jury Instructions and Justices Ronald
M. George, Carol A. Corrigan, and James D. Ward. Pictures and more

ALWD/LWI 2007 Survey of Legal Writing
Programs - A record number of law schools responded to the
2007 joint survey, co-sponsored with the Association of Legal Writing
Directors. The results of the 2007 survey as well as the results

has the beginning of an on-line syllabus bank added to its list
of Publications. Thanks to the many contributions of legal research
and writing teachers and law librarians, we have over 40 advanced
course syllabi that can easily be accessed and downloaded (in Word).
