Organizers are now accepting proposals for the 19th Annual Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Conference, March 15-16, at UNLV. Proposals can be on any subject of interest to legal writing teachers and are due January 4, 2019. You can view the conference site here.
Time slots are 25 minutes (the majority) or 50 minutes. Please indicate the length you would prefer and whether you would be willing to accept the other length if necessary.
You can be part of more than one proposal, but please indicate your first choice. Organizers want to include as many proposals and presenters as possible.
Deadline for proposals is January 4. If you need an earlier decision to secure funding, let the organizers know. They can usually accommodate that request.
Your proposal should include:
All classrooms have internet access and presentation software. If you have other technology needs, just let the organizers know.
Registration and lodging information will follow in the next few weeks, but generally hotel rooms are available in many price ranges in Las Vegas. Cabs or Lyft or Uber rides are inexpensive from the Strip to the school. There will be an option for a hotel within walking distance. Also, sometimes you can find less expensive or more interesting lodging options online.
