Adjunct Clinical Professor of Legal Writing

<p>The SMU DEDMAN SCHOOL OF LAW is seeking applications from qualified persons for two Adjunct Clinical Professors of Legal Research, Writing, &amp; Analysis (LRWA) positions to teach in the LRWA program to begin Fall 2024. Legal writing is a required first-year course and is taught as a two semester, six-hour course. The appointment is ten months, though reappointment is possible. Applicants must have a law degree; an excellent academic record; and excellent research, writing, legal analysis, and communication skills. Previous teaching in legal research and writing course is preferred, and at least three years of legal practice is required. Hiring is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check.</p>
