  • How can I serve on an LWI or ALWD/LWI committee?

In the spring of an even-numbered year, the President-Elect typically sends an email to the membership asking for interest in serving on the committees to be formed for the upcoming biennium to begin the coming summer.  Committee appointments usually last for the two years of that biennium (e.g., July 2018-July 2020).

  • How can I serve on the LWI Board of Directors?

In roughly February of an even year, the President-Elect sends an email to the membership on the listserv seeking nominations for open positions on the LWI Board of Directors for the next biennium.  Elections are then held in March (e.g., elections were held in March 2018 for the July 2018-July 2020 biennium).  The term for a Director-At-Large is four years.  For more information, consult our By-Laws here.
