Assistant Clinical Professor

<p><span><span><span><span>The University of Idaho College of Law seeks to hire a full-time, entry-level clinical faculty member to teach <strong>legal writing courses</strong> at its Boise location beginning in August 2025.&nbsp;</span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span><span><span><span>The position is an academic-year appointment with faculty voting rights and associated faculty governance responsibilities. The faculty member will teach two sections of first-year legal writing each semester; work collaboratively with other legal writing faculty to develop the course curriculum and major writing assignments; and, after the first year, teach an additional course dependent on the faculty member’s areas of interest and the College’s curricular needs. The faculty member will also mentor and advise students and participate in university service and outreach activities. </span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span><span><span><span>Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent; at least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience; experience in legal research and writing; experience teaching, or related experience; and experience in creating a safe, welcoming, and dynamic learning environment of belonging for all students, or related experience. </span></span></span></span></p>
