<p><span><span><span><span><span>Saint Louis University School of Law seeks applicants for the role of Assistant Dean for Teaching, Learning, & Academic Success. Housed in our Academic Resource Center, the Assistant Dean will co-direct our academic success and bar passage initiatives. The Assistant Dean will provide leadership and support for law school faculty in the areas of course design, course delivery, and emerging learning technologies. The position is a non-tenure track faculty appointment in the School of Law, rank dependent on experience. The position is for a 12-month appointment. <p><span><span><span><span><span>The Assistant Dean will promote excellence in teaching and learning at SLU Law. The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive academic success program for law students that includes a bar prep curriculum, work collaboratively with other faculty, and teach courses as assigned. The Assistant Dean will offer pedagogical guidance and support for curriculum and course development and will collaborate with SLU institutional partners to develop and promote opportunities for faculty professional development. A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required and the candidate must have taken and passed the bar exam in any U.S. state or jurisdiction. The ideal candidate will have experience leading an academic success program and is informed about developments related to the NextGen bar exam. Prior experience supporting faculty in teaching and curriculum development is desirable, but not required. Data collection and assessment outcome reporting skills are also highly desirable.</span></span></span></span></span></p>
