Conference Information & Logistics

Below are a few reminders and logistics to help you make the most of your conference experience.

Shuttle Service

Complimentary shuttle service will be available throughout the conference between Aloft (located across the street from Moxy) and Mondale Hall.

• Wednesday: A shuttle will run between Aloft (across the street from Moxy) and Mondale Hall from 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. A shuttle will also transport attendees from the Opening Reception at the Courtyard by Marriott back to Aloft between 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
• Thursday & Friday: A shuttle will run between Aloft and Mondale Hall from 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and again from 3:45 p.m.–5:45 p.m. Please see the Friday Gala & Transportation section below for evening shuttle service to and from the Gala.
• Saturday: A shuttle will run between Aloft and Mondale Hall from 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and again from 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m.

Staying at Moxy? Moxy is located directly across the street from Aloft, so all conference shuttle service is easily accessible from either hotel.

Meals & Refreshments

Breakfast

A light breakfast will be available daily from 8:00–9:00 a.m. in the Spannaus Commons on the Plaza Level of Mondale Hall.

Lunch

• Thursday: Box lunches will be available for the LWI Membership Meeting in Willey Hall, connected to Mondale Hall by tunnel.
• Friday: A hot lunch from Boca Chica Restaurant y Cantina will be served in Mondale Hall. LWI committees may meet throughout the building during lunch.

Coffee Breaks

Coffee, beverages, and snacks will be available during designated breaks in the Spannaus Commons.

LWI Committee Meetings

Committee meetings will take place during the Friday lunch hour. If your committee is meeting, please pick up your lunch before heading to your assigned meeting room. Room assignments will be available in the conference app.

Opening Reception

The Opening Reception will be held on Wednesday from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott. Appetizers will be served, and drink tickets will be distributed at conference registration.

Friday Gala & Transportation

The Friday Gala will be held at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Festivities begin at 7:00 p.m., with full access to the museum beginning at 7:30 p.m.. Light appetizers will be served from 7:30–9:00 p.m.

Return Shuttles

Shuttles will depart the Science Museum beginning at 8:45 p.m. and continue through 11:15 p.m..

Quiet Room & Presenter Preparation

• Quiet Room: Room 473 is available as a low-stimulation space for anyone who would like a calm place to rest or decompress.
• Presenter Prep Room: Room 3 is reserved for presenters preparing for their sessions.
