Open-Rank Clinical Professor of Law
I am pleased to announce that the Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law at High Point University is looking to hire a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Law, teaching Legal Research and Writing, beginning in the summer of 2025. HPU is a brand new law school located in High Point, North Carolina. We recently welcomed our inaugural class of 72 first-year students. At HPU Law, Legal Research and Writing is taught in small sections of ten or fewer students, and each professor teaches no more than thirty students. In the summer of 2025, we will move into a brand new, state-of-the-art law school building in the heart of HPU's beautiful campus.
The professor hired will have a twelve-month contract. Our dean has approved a salary of $140,000 or higher for experienced candidates. We welcome applications from entry-level candidates as well, and any professor hired will be paid a fair salary. This is not a tenure-track position, but the professor hired will be eligible for ABA Standard 405(c) status.
I hope you consider joining us!
