LWI has nearly 3,000 members. Members represent all ABA-accredited law schools in the United States as well as law schools in other countries. LWI members also come from undergraduate schools and universities, the practicing bar and the judiciary, and independent research-and-consulting organizations. Anyone who is interested in legal writing or the teaching of legal writing may join LWI.

New England Legal Writing Conference: The Future of Legal Education is Golden
Suffolk University Law School is hosting a conference this fall on Thursday, November 2, 2023 on The Future of Legal Education. The full-day conference will be capped off with a reception to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Suffolk Law’s Legal Practice Skills program. We expect that law professors, deans, and librarians from around the country will attend as the subjects being discussed—NextGen Bar exam, technology, professional identity, and global lawyering—are very timely and of interest to all.
