Sixth Biennial Conference on Applied Legal Storytelling
American University, Washington College of Law
Washington, D.C.
July 11–13, 2017
‘Twas a dark and stormy night—somewhere—and it felt as if the chill in the room could be banished only by . . . reading the call for proposals for the Sixth Biennial Conference on Applied Legal Storytelling. If you have always wanted to present at one of these conferences—now’s your chance! Newcomers and Old-Timers, Scholars and Dabblers, we welcome all levels of familiarity. Applied Legal Storytelling conferences are collegial, inclusive, sometimes experimental, and always a chance to receive support for your work.
The 2017 conference will begin with registration and a reception early in the evening of July 11 at the law school. The next two days, July 12 and 13 will be devoted to a plenary session and presentations given in concurrent sessions. The conference will close with a dinner at the end of the day on July 13.The dinner is part of the conference itself—designed to be a signature event that facilitates ongoing conversations.
