Visiting Assistant Professor

Western State has two Visiting Assistant Professor positions available for the 2025-2026 academic year. These full-time appointments are designed to mentor you to become a tenure-track law professor. They come with a dedicated faculty mentor and a student research assistant. You will also receive a courtesy screening interview for the permanent Assistant Professor positions that will begin in Fall 2026. We have a range of courses that need coverage, including Contracts, Torts, and Professional Responsibility.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold a J.D. degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Be an active member of a state bar.
• Demonstrate strong academic credentials and a commitment to teaching excellence.

Salary: $100,000
