Become a Member

LWI has nearly 3,000 members. Members represent all ABA-accredited law schools in the United States as well as law schools in other countries. LWI members also come from undergraduate schools and universities, the practicing bar and the judiciary, and independent research-and-consulting organizations. Anyone who is interested in legal writing or the teaching of legal writing may join LWI.

15th Global Legal Skills Conference

We are excited to announce that the 15th Global Legal Skills Conference will take place at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, U.K. Nottingham is an easy 90-minute train ride from London. 

The conference will begin with a reception on the evening of July 30, with conference programming taking place on July 31 and August 1. An optional excursion will be held either directly preceding or following the conference (details to come).
