LWI offers a wide range of publications appealing to a variety of audiences. Legal Writing: The Journal of the Legal Writing Institute was established in 1988. In its nearly 30 years of publication, the Journal has encouraged and communicated scholarly research devoted to the theory, substance, and pedagogy of legal writing. The LWI Monograph Series serves as a disciplinary knowledge base for both teachers and scholars in legal communication while Second Draft is a twice-a-year publication containing shorter articles of interest to legal writing professionals. LWI also publishes the monthly LWI Lives, which is designed to capture the diversity of the community by profiling individual members. Moot Court Advisor’s Handbook is a resource for anyone running moot court competitions. Finally, the SSRN Legal Writing eJournal disseminates up-to-the minute publications relating to topics in legal communication.
